SYS.01
AI systems & agents
Assistants that answer from your own documents, triage the inbox, draft the first version, and know when to hand work to a human. Measured in hours returned to your team each week.

The word algorithm is a man's name: al-Khwarizmi, mathematician of Baghdad.
Ummah Tech is the engineering house of Ummah Corporation. We build AI systems, automation, and custom software for Muslim institutions, businesses, and founders. The bar is ihsan.
02 · The story
Scroll. This is not nostalgia. It is lineage.
Early 800s · Baghdad
The caliphate builds Bayt al-Hikmah and pays scholars to gather, translate, and extend the knowledge of every civilization within reach. Gathering knowledge becomes state policy.
c. 820
Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi writes the book that gives the world algebra. Latin translators render his name Algoritmi. Two of the load-bearing words of modern technology belong to one Muslim scholar.
For seven centuries
Observatories run on public budgets. Hospitals keep patient records. Instrument makers engrave their names on their astrolabes, because the maker answers for the instrument.
Then, centuries pass
The lead changes hands. Masajid run on donated spreadsheets, businesses rent software from strangers, and our best engineers build for someone else. The standard does not expire.
Now
AI is the largest transfer of technical leverage in living memory. The cost of building is collapsing; what stays scarce is judgment. The opening is here again, in shaa Allah.
07 · What we build
We are custom software builders. We build software the ummah should own, not rent.

Registration, invoicing, reporting, follow-up: the work that should run at 2 a.m. with no one awake. We connect the tools you already pay for and retire the copy-paste between them.

Your system, carried from first sketch to production: designed, built, deployed, and maintained. You own every line of it, the day it ships. No licences, no seats, no rent.

09 · Who we build for
Masjid websites, school information systems, registration, donations, communication. When the systems run themselves, your staff serve people instead of spreadsheets.
Quoting, scheduling, invoicing, reporting. Operations that keep their shape well past the founder's working hours.
A technical partner who shares your constraints and your standard. Halal by default. Excellent on purpose.
10 · The standard
إِحْسَان
Ihsan is to worship Allah as though you see Him; for if you do not see Him, He surely sees you.
Most software is built to pass review. Ours is built knowing the work is already seen. That is ihsan as an engineering bar: the migration is tested, the edge case is handled, the data is treated as an amanah, whether or not anyone would have noticed.
Excellence is not a differentiator we chose. It is an obligation we inherited.
11 · The invitation
Tell us what you are building, or what keeps breaking. We reply within two business days, in shaa Allah.
Tell us what you are building, or what keeps breaking. Plain language is fine; we will ask the technical questions.
Some of us do too. Write to us directly:
